What is BBB?

  • BBB is a Virtual-Classroom-Software (VC)
  • BBB allows you to perform a "real" virtual class situation with a blackboard, audio -and video support
  • You can share your screen or a application (Word, Excel, Editor) to explain something 
  • It works with all devices (iOS- and Android-devices can not share there screens)

Network Requirements

  • Follwing ports must be accessible in the network that the students use to login to the VC:
    • TCP/IP ports 443 (HTTPS)
    • UDP ports in the range 16384 - 32768 (for FreeSWITCH/HTML5 RTP streams)
  • If the UDP-Ports a blocked, you can install a additional turn server that redirects everything to port 443. This can also be done by this scripts: https://github.com/bigbluebutton/bbb-install
